Zizzi Pizza Restaurants

A Pizza restaurant called Zizzi ran a competition on their website to win a £100 meal voucher. For a chance to win, you had to upload a video of yourself spinning a pizza base. There were only two entries, both Compers News subscribers! Both members had asked the question about winner notification on the Zizzi website, their facebook page and their Twitter account, but received no response. I sent them a recorded delivery letter explaining the guidelines about winner notification, but this was also ignored. I found the telephone number of the Managing Director and finally spoke to his secretary on a Wednesday afternoon. I told her to please pass on the information that I would make an ASA referral the next day. What a surprise, on Thursday morning we had a Compers News winner!
