Win a £50 WH Smith Voucher with National Stationery Week (CLOSED)

Hello again compers!  How is your week going, any nice wins to report?  Just one for me since we last spoke – a £5 Love2Shop voucher from a Facebook daily comp.  Not a huge win, but one that will always come in handy!  Can’t believe it is almost the end of April already – are you ahead of the game with End of Month (EOM) competitions, or do you prefer to tackle them head on in the last days?  I am usually scrabbling to catch up on the last day, but I am actually ahead this month – not quite sure why!  I partly put it down to the fact that our TV viewing in the evenings have been dominated by football and other sport this month, which has meant I have been able to get on and comp while hubby was happily watching the sports channels.  I am ever hopeful of a last ditch big win before the end of the month.  How about you, how has April been so far?

We are well into the school term now in our house – eldest seems to be forever busy with playdates, School Council duties, homework, swimming lessons and extra-curricular “stuff”.  The youngest is getting there too with playdates and after school clubs – I often think they have better social lives than us! One thing I have noticed is that my eldest is of an age now that she really loves her stationery that she uses for homework, and is quite protective of it.  She has a set of Smiggle scented macaroon rubbers that I won last year, and if her sister so much as looks at them they are whipped away to her “special box”, and there they stay until the coast is clear!

Did you know that it is National Stationery Week this week 27th April - 3rd May 2015?  What better time to declutter your office and comping stationery and spruce them up with some lovely new items.  There are always lots of fab competitions available to win during National Stationery Week, and here at Compers News we don’t want to be left out!  For this month’s exclusive competition, just for Compers News members, you can win a £50 voucher for WH Smith, to spend on whatever you like.  You could treat yourself to some lovely new art supplies if you are a craft comper, some files, folders and notebooks if you are an organised comper, or maybe some bright cheerful highlighters or sticky notes for you funky compers.  You could of course spend the voucher on something entirely different – the choice is yours!  If you would like to win this fab prize then simply add a comment to this blog and tell me what your must-have stationery items are as a comper.  For me it would probably be highlighter pens!  I use them to highlight comps that I want to enter in the Compers News magazine, and different colours relate to different things – kids comps, creative comps, comps ending soon etc.

To enter you will need to be a registered Compers News member and signed into your account, one entry per person and remember that comments are moderated and as such won’t appear immediately.  The competition ends at 23:59 on Tuesday 5th May 2015, and one winner will be chosen at random and contacted after this time – good luck everyone!

Happy comping and lots of Lucky Dust to you all!

Kirsty x

Postcards,plain paper,envelopes,self adhesive labels,biros.folders,notepad.

Always like to have pens in different colours to hand because sometimes you are asked to complete a postcard in a specific coloured ink. Stamps, postcards, envelopes, pens & spare notepad are all within reach at all times I'm at my computer desk

Notepads, post its and sticky tabs.

postcards, stamps, black biro and more postcards!

I have some Sharpies in bright colours that I go through Compers News with, so I can see what ones I've entered. That is one of my favourite parts of the month..getting excited about all the latest new comps, with a coffee and cake! Heaven!

Brightly coloured gel pens - make my writing look brighter

Pen, postcards and stamps

Eye-catching postcards and highlighters

Hotter to write all qualities I need to buy

Box file to keep all the receipts and coded collars etc.

My 20 compartment box files each with a carrying handle are my essential stationery items.
I have three:-
1) To hold back issues of Compers News
2) To hold postcards sorted into themed bundles relevant for each comp, envelopes, stamps, pens and highlighters etc
and
3) To file entry forms, magazine comp pages etc in chronological order and also a place to store receipts.

MY ESSENTIALS HAVE TO BE PLAIN POSTCARDS AND LOTS OF STICKERS (MY LITTLE ONE MAKES THE POSTCARDS FOR ME TO SEND)

my write4all pens, rains a lot up here in Scotland and our postcards need waterproof ink!

My highlighter pen - I can highlight the comps in Compers News that I want to enter, and then cross them off once I've done it

A small notebook divided up with the major supermarkets, stores and products for me to write down details of items needed to buy to enter a competition. I also write in the prize and the closing date.

Love my funky post cards and a good selection of pens and envelopes, also love note books for shopping lists for my purchase comps :)

An organizer split into months to keep receipts in case I win

Postcards and stamps are essential!

My black wirite4all pen. Perfect for efs and so much more!

Plenty of Postcards and Stamps and always have a pen handy to note down Competitions off the Radio and TV.

My favourite stationery items are definitely 'gel pens' with real ink in them. Makes writing a real pleasure. I always have a stack of them!

Card, scissors and labels

I have debated on this as I do quite often use my iphone to take pictures but nothing can actually beat a pen. You can use sticky labels on your postcards but you still need to handwrite the address. Anyway, sticky labels can cause them to 'boomerang' so a pen is very handy for writing something by the postcode, even a bit of scribble if I feel creative! A really good biro which feels nice to write with - that's when I really do feel a true comper

Plenty of pens, nothing worse than one running out halfway through a postcard entry

I need a supply of highlighter pens to highlight comps I want to enter, as well as small notebooks to carry my shopping list for comps in each supermarket

I love using stamps when I mark work-lots of these come from WHSmith!

my favourite stationary item is my little portable table that i take with me everywhere to do my comps on with its special comping pens and postcards in the side draw!!!!!Cumbersome to take with me everywhere, but ESSENTIAL to my comping needs!!!!

My must have items would be stamps and coloured postcards and my "lucky" comping pen!!

Super giveaway, thank you :)
I need postcards, my notebook to keep track of the competitions I've entered & a pen that is comfortable to write with.

My Staedtler pigment liner pen, I just love the way it writes on postcards and envelopes!

Oh i do love stationery!!! I need a plastic popper wallet to keep everything in, sticky labels, postcards, pens, stamps, paper clips and highlighters ;)

Hilighter pens to use on my Compers News magazine each month, so I can mark which comps I wish to enter.

Got to be a lovely 'fine' black pen that doesn't smudge while you are writing

Plenty of postcards with stamps on, ready to send.

A bright yellow bulldog clip that keeps all my envelopes together en route to the post box. One of these days I will end up posting that as well!

A good black pen that writes clearly and doesn't smudge is a necessity in a compers world especially now postcard entries are starting to rear their heads again. Reminds me of the olden days.

As a new comper my special item is my lucky pen from my grandaughter at least she promises me it will be lucky one day!

A good selection of the Berol Hand wrighting pens - they make postcard entries so much easier as they seem to glide over the card and helps when your on your 50th post card x

For me it's lots of pens , as they always seem to go missing when you need them.

Love highlighters !

a good pen x

name and address sticky labels.
