Hello everyone! How was your week going, any nice wins to report? Another nice Twitter win here of a £Nothing new for me to report, but it has been a crazy busy week. My children are now officially broken up for the summer – half of me wants to shout “hurrah” and the other half wants to slink away into a quiet corner and forget the fact that I am still not very organised for it. I do love having the children home; it just means I have to juggle everything else around them even more than I usually do. I will end up working some odd hours and comping less often, but it is worth it to be making some fun memories with the children while they are still small and want to be spending time with us! I am sure it won’t be too many more years before the eldest daughter decides that she is too cool to be spending all her summer holidays with her parents, and will want to be off with her friends instead – so better make the most of them while we can.
One way I try to keep everything juggling in the air during the summer holidays is to use more convenience and pre-packed foods. That isn’t to say we live on ready meals, but where we might have eggs, toast and cereal if we are having a leisurely breakfast, if we are in a rush or I am working then the children might just have a pot of yogurt, some fruit and granola for breakfast instead. If we do this however I like to make sure we get good quality ingredients and brands, so I don’t feel so bad about not cooking form scratch every meal of the day.
When I do the first summer holidays shop this weekend I will be picking up some multipacks of Activia yogurts. Both me and my eldest suffer somewhat from digestive issues, and like to take a daily live culture yogurt to keep everything running as it should. As an added bonus Activia are running a fabulous promotion at the moment to win 1,000s of Happy Days! Pick up a promotional pack of the popular yogurts and enter the promotional code at http://www.activiahappydays.com/ to find out instantly if you have won one of 2,000 vouchers to be used at buyagift.com. There are 250 x £1.000 vouchers, 500 x £500 vouchers and 1,250 x £150 vouchers to be won, and all unsuccessful entries get a 25% off code too. If you are a winner you could be spending your vouchers on whatever you fancy including maybe a short break in Europe, indoor skydiving, an animal experience or a family trip to the theatre – lots to choose from whatever your interests. If you win you can choose to use the whole voucher in one go, or split it over several experiences. Each promotional code can only be used once; you can enter multiple times but can only win one prize during the promotion. All entries need to be in by 23:59 on 30th September 2015, so pick up a few packs this weekend and you could be winning some Happy Days with Activia!
