Something For The Weekend - Discovery Channel UK – Make Your World Bigger Competition

The Discovery Channel UK are celebrating 25 years of broadcasting in Western Europe by launching their MASSIVE Make Your World Bigger competition to win 25 once in a lifetime experiences, as well as other prizes!  They are asking people to submit up to 5 photos or videos, accompanied by a maximum of 25 words explaining how they have made their world bigger.

The Discovery Channel UK judging panel will choose 25 shortlisted entries, before the competition goes to a public vote to decide the final ranking.  The top 3 entries will be offered the chance to go on a once in a lifetime, all inclusive trip to one of the Channel’s priority content locations – such as an epic Amazon adventure, or an awesome trip through the Komodo National Park in Indonesia!  The rest of the top 25 entrants will either receive a £500 Make Your World Bigger experience voucher, or an exclusive Make Your World Bigger goody pack.

In addition to the top prizes, there will also be spot prizes available during the competition, including some for the voting public, when the voting stage begins on Monday 23rd June 2014.  Entries for the first round shortlisting need to be received by midnight on Sunday 15^th June 2014
