Today we're going to look at some current comps people could enter to have a great time in the UK - from a meal out to a holiday!
Just as there are exciting overseas holidays competitions to enter - which you'll find in places like Compers News and online - there are also comps to win UK holidays out there.
For example, there are a whole host of holiday comps listed on the Visit Cornwall site at the moment.
One of them features a family three night visit to the Sands Resort Hotel, Cornwall, with some food included (although not travel costs) and ends June 30th. There's no comp question here, just a simple online form.
The same site is listing this comp, also closing on June 30th, with the prize of a seven night break for as many as six people at Stein's at Trevone Farm, which is close to Padstow.
There's a meal at the nearby Rick Stein's Cafe also included in the prize - though again no travel costs. The comp has the same method of entry as the Sands Resort competition, an online form.
We're not going to cover all of the Visit Cornwall site's listed comps here, you can find the full list at this link, but we'll fill you in on just one more.
It has the same style of entry form and the same closing date as the two above, and gives the winner five nights at Portbyhan Hotel this September, a zip wire ride, Kneehigh Asylum tickets, Looe Music Festival tickets and more - though again, no travel costs.
We've also spotted this comp on Yorkshire.com for a break in the Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa. Breakfast and dinner are included in this two-person stay. There's a comp question to answer and the competition ends May 31st.
Back down south, the Stay At Devon site has two holiday comps listed at the moment. Both involve online entry forms and according to the T&Cs, all entrants are signed up to an e-newsletter.
This comp, closing June 30th, has the prize of week-long access to a touring pitch at Stowford Farm Meadows. And this one, closing May 24th, is giving people the chance to enjoy a John Fowler Holiday break as a prize.
Fancy a meal out? Restaurants just love giving away free meals in competitions, so you don't have to win a holiday to have a good time in the UK on the back of a win!
Check out this Hotel Chocolat comp for a free meal at Leeds' Roast + Conch eatery, for example, and this comp from the same promoter with the prize of a meal at Rabot 1745 in London.
Or you could try your luck at getting a meal for ten people in this ASK Italian Facebook comp.
Another type of UK-based trip it's often possible to try and win is theme park visits.
Over on the website of North Yorkshire attraction Flamingo Land, which combines exciting rides with its own zoo, there's a competition being held in conjunction with the What's On & Where To Go website.
In this comp, winners get a Flamingo Land family day ticket as well as having a galloper (a carousel horse, according to the site) named after themselves or a relative.
There's a comp question about a new ride, an online form and ten sets of prizes all in all. The comp ends on August 31st.
