Something For The Weekend - Win an Ultimate Treat Holiday with Kettle Chips

Hello again compers!  How was your week, any nice wins to report?  I am afraid I still have nothing to tell you about my own wins – going through the longest dry spell I have had in years!  I won’t lie, I am starting to lose my mojo a bit and really could do with even a tiny win to restore my faith in the Comping Fairy – I think she has deserted me!  Last night also saw the start of this year’s Isle of Wight Festival, for which I have been trying in vain to win tickets.  My husband and I must have entered hundreds of comps between us to try and win tickets, but all to no avail!  We shall have to make do with listening to vague strains of music on the breeze, and watching catch up commentary on TV - fail!

The weather has been glorious here on the Island though, so that does somewhat make up for lack of wins.  It has meant that we have been able to get out and enjoy the natural beauty of the Island whenever we can – beaches, coastal walks and generally being outdoors.  It does also make me think about the summer holidays though, and that for the third year running we have no holiday booked.  As most of you will be aware I have been desperately trying to win a holiday for what seems like forever, but have had no success as yet.  I think I am resolved to the fact that we will have to buy a tent this year and enjoy all that camping has to offer us as a family, rather than getting excited about a foreign holiday – unless I do somehow win one!
