Something For The Weekend - Win Free Ice Cream with Mars

Hello again compers!  How was your week, any nice wins to report?  Nothing new to report here, but we have been in Easter Holidays mode and are currently up in Peterborough visiting my family.  I have had the children entering a few Comping for Kids promotions over the Easter holidays though, so fingers crossed that they may win a prize or two for their efforts – you never know!

Kiddos are back at school on Mondays – me and the hubby mixed feelings as always, as it is lovely having them home but ridiculously difficult to try and juggle everything and keep everyone happy.  I am a big fan of routine and organisation though if I am honest, and now my head is starting to think forward to the summer holidays and getting myself sorted for then.  I like to have lots of things squirrelled away for the children to do – comp wins if at all possible – so I will be trying to win all manner of kiddie related items, as well as still focusing on winning a holiday of some sort. 

Starting to feel a bit more spring-like here and as a result I am finding our food buying habits are changing.  I seem to be making less stew and goulash, and more light meals such as cold meat salads and pasta dishes, and lots more veg.  Our desserts are changing too – there seem to be a lot of ice creams and frozen puddings sneaking into our freezer of late!  Next time we stock up in the freezer isle, or buy an ice cream out and about I will be looking out for promotional packs of Mars Ice Creams.  In their current promotion you have a 1 in 6 chance of winning a free ice cream or multi-box of ice creams.  Purchase a single Mars, Snickers, Maltesers, Bounty of Twix bar, open it up and see if the message inside says you have won!  If it does take the code on the wrapper to any participating store and claim a free Mars Ice cream of your choice.  Likewise, if you find a winning message in your multi-box of Mars or Snickers ice creams, take the code on the packaging to a participating store and claim a free box!  The promotion is running until midnight on 31^st October 2015, so you have the whole of spring and summer to be taking part in this great competition – hopefully lots of us will be munching on free ice cream shortly!
