Something For The Weekend - Win 1 of 3 Million Cuddly Toys with McVities

Hello again compers!  How was your week, any nice wins to report?  Nothing new to report here – been battling an ear infection and a nasty chest infection for what seems like forever and it is really impeding my comping time!  Managing to get a little comping in during the evenings, but my chest is so tight and painful that I can’t really concentrate.  Hoping my comping mojo makes reappearance once I am well again.  How do you cope with periods in life when you don’t have the time or the inclination to comp?  Do you find it means you get back into comping refreshed and invigorated, or does it frustrate you not being able to do as much as you would like? 

Despite being ill I have still being working as usual, just driving my husband mad with the cough that comes periodically from the office!  I have also been consuming copious amounts of honey & lemon, tea and coffee in an effort to soothe my throat.  And of course what are hot beverages without biscuits!  Diligent hubby stocked up on McVities Digestives, Hob Nobs and my favourite Chocolate Digestives this week - and I am pleased to say most of them had the current promotion on from McVities too – he has been trained well!  McVities are giving away over 3 million, yes 3 million cuddly toys – dogs, cats, owls and  tarsiers, just like those cute little critters featured in their current adverts.  To enter you need to pick up a promotional pack and text the word SWEEET (three “Es”) plus the unique code inside the pack to 51500 (charged at standard rate).  You will find out instantly if you have won, and 1 in 10 packets will be a winner!  You can enter a maximum of three times per person per day, and a maximum of 50 times over the course of the promotion, which ends on 1^st July 2015.  The prize you win will be linked to the packet you have purchased – puppies on Digestives, kittens on Chocolate Digestives and Chocolate Digestive Slices, tarsier prizes from Jaffa Cakes and Jaffa Cake Bars, and owls from McVities BN.  Prizes won from other packs will be a random selection of the four prizes available.  So pick up a couple of packs of biccies for the biscuit tin this weekend, and you could be welcome a cute cuddly friend into your household, courtesy of McVities.
