Hello again compers! How has your week been so far, any nice wins to report? How are you getting on with being organised for Christmas? I have the bulk of all the large items bought and squirrelled away now, so anything else I win or buy are just extras. I am hoping to get my turkey ordered and my new freezer in the next week or so, so I can start stocking that up with tasty treats too. I love the autumn and winter months – I am not built for warm temperatures and have to really stop myself moaning about the hayfever in the spring and the heat in the summer. I am much better suited to cooler climates – although if I am honest I could do without the rain! Nothing worse than a school run in the rain, spending 15 minutes getting everyone’s waterproofs on, and then another 15 minutes getting them all off again at school! That being said I do still love these months. They are so conducive to settling down with something comforting to eat (goulash or a steamed sponge maybe), a warming cuppa and watching some of the great TV that seems to arrive for autumn, or indeed spending a few hours in glorious comping!
