Sensational cereal comps!

Crunch, crunch! Back in April 2013, Compers News published the story of Melissa Cannon from Braintree and her Cheerio-tastic prize.

Melissa wrote to the mag to let us know that she and her family had won one year's supply of the multi-grain cereal in a Facebook comp.

Luckily, it seems her family love the cereal, so they're sure to be happy with prize!

They won £150 in Love2Shop vouchers, as well as 165 boxes of cereal in the creative comp.

Indeed, cereal brands are often a great place to turn for comps, so it may be worth looking out for inspiration in the cereal aisle of your local supermarket!

Youth-focused Kellogg's cereal Krave and MTV have this current comp on at the moment, for example.

This might be one for those who enjoy video games, as it's linked to a game app called Pitfall Krave.

The big prize is a choice between £10,000 or a holiday of the same value.

People can get their chance to win by first completing every level of the game, which is available on Google Play and Apple's App Store.

You can read the terms and conditions here. As they outline, the closing date is March 31st this year, and there is also a slogan comp element to the competition. The comp has a reasonably in-depth and unusual process attached to it, so do check the T&Cs out for all the details.

There's another strand to the comp with tech like iPads as prizes, and the T&Cs for this are listed in the same document.

Kellogg's also has a Rice Krispies Squares comp on at the moment. You can find the T&Cs here. As they outline, it's an on-pack promo with £100 prizes on offer. There's a deadline of 5pm on April 25th (with a catch-all draw planned for any extra entries sent in by midnight on this date).

Here's how it works: You text-in an on-pack number between 9am and 5pm, then every hour a draw takes place. The person chosen is called and asked a question along the likes of 'The average Rice Krispies Squares bar is 34 metres long' and must say if this is true or a lie. If they answer correctly, they get the cash.

There's also a soft toy prize up for grabs in a comp from another cereal brand, Sugar Puffs!

A Honey Monster toy is the prize on offer in this comp, which uses on-pack codes. There are 1,000 of the limited edition soft toy prizes to be won.

If you're looking for cereal comps, you might be able to find one from your favourite cereal brand if you search their name on ThePrizeFinder. This site, from Compers News own publisher, Accolade, lists many online comps.

Following cereal brands you like on Twitter and Facebook is one other method that could help you spot cereal-tastic comps!

As you would expect, comps linked to cereal brands also come up in the listings pages of Compers News.

This section is the biggest and, some would say, most important part of the magazine: A packed section in the middle of the mag with comps of lots of different sorts set out for you to enter.

If you're a member, you might already have checked out the listings in our most recent issue, dated March 2014.

There are a huge number of comps to try here, so if you've not yet looked at your issue, why not access it online right now and see what you've been missing?

Besides the listings, you'll also be able to read about big-money winner Frank Aldred, and much more!

The latest issue has only very recently been sent out, so get it while it's hot! And if you've already read it and want more comping goodness, you can keep checking back on the blog or, if you're a member, read our back-issues elsewhere on the site.
