Britain's Got Talent comp set to feature on Maltesers packs

Comps don't come much bigger than Britain's Got Talent!

Compers might not traditionally think of the ITV talent contest as being similar to the competitions they enter every day - many of which require little more than the filling-in of a form. But the much-loved TV show could be described as one of the best-known creative comps out there!

Acts have to get through a number of rounds in which they're judged on talents - from singing to dancing and much more - before one is voted the winner by the public.

Past victors have included Ashleigh and Pudsey, a girl and dog performing pair, and George Sampson, a young dancer - but then, you probably knew that!

Though many of us might not like the idea of having to go in front of an audience and perform a talent, if comping - rather than, say, singing - is your hobby, you'll still be able to get into the spirit of the show using the pastime.

There's an on-pack comp coming up from Maltesers that's themed around Britain's Got Talent.

One type of prize on offer is set to be given away in the comp - which will use flash-marked packs of the chocolate treat - is VIP tickets for people to be in the studio when the show goes before cameras live.

There are set to be many other prizes on offer, with digital activation giving people an opportunity to get their hands on a Britain's Got Talent House Party, for example.

It's not the first time Britain's Got Talent or it's sister series The X Factor have been linked to a comping, of course.

And the talk of ticket prizes got us thinking about the other sorts of tickets it's possible to get your hands on through comping.

Make sure you head over to The Prize Finder, Accolade's mega comping website, and use the menu to hit the Tickets & Events section if you like the sound of this sort of prize.

There's always a great range of tickets and other similar prizes to be found here on the site published by the people behind Compers News, giving you the chance to find prizes that could give you a great experience.

For example, while we've been on the site recently, we've seen a fun-looking London experience prize that's being promoted by ShortList.com.

With a Valentine's Day themed question, it's got five sets of tickets for big-wheel landmark the London Eye to give winners, and the experience includes a glass of champagne while you take a trip on the wheel. The comp closes February 20th. Entry is via online form or text.

People who enjoy taking a trip to the theatre, on the other hand, will love the sound of a current Olivier Awards comp related to the BBC Radio 2 Audience Award. The winner gets tickets for all of the shortlisted shows in this Olivier Awards category - which asks people to vote for their top long-running show in London.

You enter via voting, and the shows on offer to pick from - and which you'll be able to see every one of if you win - include spooky ghost story the Woman in Black and ABBA-song filled musical Mamma Mia.

Meanwhile, people with young children might be especially excited by this ticket comp on Netmums which offers the prize of CBeebies Live! The Big Band tour tickets and an opportunity to meet cast members.

Characters featured in the show include Rastamouse and Mr Tumble.

It's easy to use ThePrizeFinder by simply scrolling through the comps on offer and picking out the ones that are right for you.

Much of the time you'll find that entering requires little more than filling in an online form, though sometimes there's a more in-depth process to follow.

If you want to take a shortcut to comps that are related to a subject you're particularly interested in, there's a search bar on the left hand side of the screen, that you can use to look for, for example, 'theatre tickets'.

But to make sure you don't miss anything you might want to enter on the site, we'd recommend looking through all the open comps in the sections that list types of prize that you like, too!
