A subscription to Compers News is a very affordable way to get right to the heart of the comping world.
But that doesn't mean that you won't want to make sure you're getting all the value you can out of your decision to subscribe.
And even long-time members might sometimes realise they're not making full use of one or two of the great parts that come with a subscription.
Whether you're a recent sign-up or long-time member, remember to head back to the Members Area part of our site on a regular basis if you're a subscriber - because there are some great member exclusives to be had here.
One of them is Windex, a frequently updated database full of more than 63,000 winning slogans dating back three decades.

Another great link on the Members Area page will take you to the subscribers-only Chatterbox messageboard, a comping paradise that even lets you chat with your online pals about other topics in a special 'Non-Comping Natterbox' forum, too.
Please note that you will have to register for the Chatterbox board before you can read or share your thoughts with our other users.
If you've not used the board before, we'd say this is a potentially life-changing part of your subscription to start taking advantage of, because it puts you in touch with your fellow compers so easily!
Back issue brilliance
Subscribers can also check out back issues, which are something of a treasure trove when it comes to comping tips. Currently the website has issues dating back to the March of 2011 - that's an awful lot of comping action all in one place!
Of course some of the material in old issues will be out of date by now, but there are plenty of evergreen pieces of comping advice and insights in our back catalogue, too!
Getting the mag every month
When it comes to issues of the mag - old or new - remember that subscribing, and becoming a member, is actually the only way to see Compers News at all - unless you have a comping friend who happens to want to share! We're not available in shops, and memberships is the only way to get our magazine each month.

Because, of course, one of the biggest reasons for reading Compers News is that it provides a digest of brilliant comps - which makes entering super-easy.
Our Listings File contains a host of competitions. In the mag, we feature chances to win ranging from those you might see on food product packaging, to comps from the world of magazines and some you can see online - to name just three categories.
At a glance, details like when the contest closes, what compers could win and how to enter are yours - meaning it's very easy to get an idea of which current comps might be for you.

There's much more in the mag besides this feature, and as with any mag about something you love, it's a fun and informative read - as current readers will tell you!
