About Compers News

Compers News is the UK’s only magazine dedicated to entering competitions and winning prizes.

The magazine is edited by Steve Middleton, a passionate comper with 50 years of experience and thousands of prizes to his name, including a round-the-world trip and a holiday to Las Vegas with £10,000 spending money.

Steve took over as editor in 2006 and leads a small team of experienced competition winners who share their knowledge, research and enthusiasm for the hobby with readers across the UK.

But at its heart, Compers News is about more than winning prizes. Compers News is a community of like-minded people who enjoy the excitement of entering competitions, celebrating each other's successes and helping newcomers discover a rewarding hobby.
