TALENT SPOTTER (June 2014 issue)

The entries for our exclusive A-Z of Prizes competition keep on coming. Here’s one of the latest, from Compers news member Elaine Fitzpatrick. Elaine entered our competition under F – for Fifteen Minutes of Fame – and here’s her story.

“I entered a competition with Virgin Media in 2012 to win a Britain’s Got Talent backstage pass. I was delighted to be selected as a winner and I was invited to London to attend a live semi-final. It turned out that not only did I receive a backstage pass, but I was expected to be a roving reporter complete with camera man and microphone too!”

“It was a fabulous money-can’t-buy experience and . I interviewed the eventual winner Ashley and her dog Pudsey, David Walliams and the nation’s favourites Ant and Dec. I must say they were lovely, very friendly and both of them kissed and hugged me before and after the interview!”

“I was then invited back to report backstage at the grand final. It was an amazing couple of days that I’ll never forget, all thanks to comping!”

We are giving away £2,00 worth of prizes to Compers News members - and only Compers News members can win them!  All ypou have to do to enter is tell us about the best prizes you have ever won!  We've set up 26 categories - that's one for each letter in the alphabet from A-Z!
